Our population
Devinia has a lowly-educated and young population. In our country the birth rate is high but so is the unemployment. This is all caused by the conflicts between the twins.

Our politics
Devinia became a diarchy when princess Silvia Silverstone chose to marry Cedric Copper and when his mother split the country. A diarchy means that there is a system of dual rule, in this case the rulers are the twinbrothers. They each have their own State in Devinia.
Our nature
The State of the Copper Crown (ruled by Cedric Copper) is very mountainous and also less fertile. It has copper mines.
The Opium State (ruled by Otis Opium) is more fertile and has a lot of opium crops.

Our culture
In our culture family is very important, we have close-knitted family traditions. Normally the people are very welcoming and warm. There are also a lot of castles and opium lovers.

Our economics
In Devinia there's a lot of drug traffic in the South. In the North the mining industry causes heavy pollution which is bad for the citizens health

Values
Love
Devinia became Devinia because of a broken heart. Love definitely plays a big part in our story. But despite this tragic story, we hope for a future full of love for this beautiful country and that the brothers may reunited.

Responsibility
Ruling a country requires a responsible attitude. It’s important to see the bigger picture in the story and not pay too much attention to the negligible misunderstandings. We’re also talking about the mining industry. This industry caused heavy pollution. We are still growing and searching for innovative solutions to better the negative impact on the environment.

Hope
In a divided country where there are still conflicts from time to time, there is always hope… Hope that the country will one day become one again and that the brothers will reconnect in the future.

Welfare
Although both parts of the country have prosperity in their own way, before the split of the country there was even more prosperity. That’s why the ultimate goal is to regain that prosperity. The main goal is to bring the copper and opium crops together and benefit in an honest way.

Togetherness
Even though Devinia is split right now, there is still a lot of connection. The rulers are twins and family comes on top of everything.
Equality
Since a few years, Devinia has progams for unemployed and low educated people. With these programs there are more equal chances for everyone.

VISION
In a world where there is already enough war, we aim for a future where Devinia becomes one again and the prosperity, love and bond between the brothers can be restored. We strive for unity and we wish to use this in our advantage in the future to become stronger as a country.
We dream about a strong alliance between the two parts of the country even if it’s hard.
We want to stay unit against the other countries and never show them our weaknesses.
Finally, our vision is to be the strongest country in the world thanks to our multicultural ideas. Being a big country with two parts is our best quality that shows that we have diversity, natural resources and a big influence on the other countries thanks to our alliance with Zenito.
MISSION
By 2030 we want a reunited country where love and prosperity reign. We want to achieve this by rebuilding the bond between the brothers and the inhabitants of the states.
We want peace and security for the inhabitants so the drug trade must be tackled. We also want Otis Opium to feel love again. We want Devinia to be a country where everyone can come home to. We spread love and hope and take accountability for our actions.

Hello
My name is Isaura Isobel Iberis,
"I am from the North of Devinia, the State of the Copper Crown with the copper mines and the Copperhead palace. I am also a 24 year old woman who studies 'Languages'."

Isaura comes from a very wealthy family, one of the richest in Devinia. She has 2 beautiful sisters called Aurora and Lina.
In order to keep their money in the family, the parents organize a big ball in one of their castles every season. This is also where Isaura met her even richer fiancé Thomas. She is very happy that she got to know him because Isaura only wanted to get married out of love. She dreams of building a peaceful life with someone she truly loves and have many children, living somewhere private in the mountains near the sea. Her main goal is to become a beloved mother, friend and daughter.
But Isaura also enjoys the luxury. She adores beautiful jewellery, nice parfums and even more beautiful dresses.
When she’s not studying you can find her horse riding, playing the piano, singing, knitting, going on walks, drinking tea with her friends and reading.
Mrs Iberis was raised with good norms and values. She’s a kind soul who loves animals and children. She is well respected and protected, has a good taste and some good friends she trusts with her life. She is creative and sociable except when she’s with people she doesn’t know yet. But she hates conflicts, disrespectful people and rules.

A day in the life of Isaura looks like this:
Her maid, who is also her friend, wakes her up when her flower bath is ready. After that she picks a nice dress and goes horseback riding with her fiancé. When she comes back an extensive breakfast is waiting for her. Then she is taught languages and studies for a few hours. After this she plays the piano and then she meets up with her friends to drink tea and talk about life. When they’re done they all go shopping for tonight’s ball.
A visit to the Copperhead Palace for a matching gem should not be missed. In the evening she eats together with her parents, drinks some Copperhead Gin and then she gets ready for the Spring Ball. Here she dances for hours and when she’s tired from all the dancing she finally goes to sleep.

My name is Thomas Teller,
"I am from the South of Devinia, the State of Opium with the large opium fields. I am a 35 year old farmer.
​
Thomas comes from a very poor family but is now a successful man. He is a single dad and works as a farmer. He has one beautiful daughter: Violette.
He usually wakes up very early to prepare breakfast for himself and his little daughter. The breakfast concludes things like eggs, bread and sometimes meat (when he can afford it). Then he goes to the farm to work for 10 hours in the opium fields.
After, he meets his closest friends in his favorite bar to drink some beers and play chess or petanque when the weather is good.
Finally, he goes back home to spend some time with his daughter. He likes to drink some tea with her while chatting about her day at school.
Thomas Teller was raised in a hard environment. He is a very strong and brave dad and is also a hard worker. He lives in a beautiful farm, has a good soul and a few good friends.
